AGV
For super-large logistics AGVs, Sunkyung ENI is the most suitable electronic development partner
- We present the best solution to accommodate equipment expansion and functional advancements.
- As a company dedicated to solving customer problems, including heat generation and equipment malfunctions, we have accumulated 15 years of expertise through the development of electric fields mounted on advanced equipment pilots.
- a leading global display manufacturer developed a prototype for an electric field for large AGV in 2022. The development of AGV pilots for deployment on the next-generation (8G/10.5G) display logistics transfer line and the implementation of advanced features on the AGVs is currently in full swing.
In the era of large AGVs and Sunkyung ENI's capabilities
In response to the display end market's increasing demand for large display products, the size of the mother glass of the display panel has increased explosively. While chamfering efficiency is being enhanced by adjusting mother glass size and using multi-model glass (MMG) for display production, various efforts are being made to improve chamfering efficiency. In particular, as LGD and SDC, two of the world's leading manufacturers of displays, have begun manufacturing large-size OLED displays, production lines are being converted rapidly, and logistics facilities are being expanded.
AGVs should have a size of between 1.5 and 2 times larger than the existing AGVs when they are carrying panels after the 8th and 10.5th generation mother glass and color filter processes. To ensure safe autonomous driving, 3D scanners, vision technology, AP, etc. should be utilized in conjunction with the enlargement, complexity, and increase in mobility efficiency of production facilities. As the development of a high-performance large mechanical AGV progresses, the electric parts controlling the equipment's movement become more important than the equipment itself. Whenever equipment functions become increasingly complex, diversified, and includes increasing numbers of components, the risk of abnormalities increases, such as interference, noise, and heat generated by accessory relays and communication equipment. Developing solutions for these problems is vital such as: 1) the ability to design large equipment and 2) It is imperative to be able to find solutions to problems that may arise during the test runs.
As a company carrying out production and remodeling projects related to advanced equipment in the semiconductor and display fields for the past 15 years, we have accumulated manufacturing-design expertise to keep up with the latest equipment trends. In the electric industry, more and more components, more complex electrical components, and more diverse fields are installed each day as equipment functions become more sophisticated. As this technology advances, designers are developing capabilities that will allow them to operate independently and without interference from one another. It is also becoming increasingly important for manufacturers to have troubleshooting capabilities to identify and correct errors through tests after the pilot is manufactured. We believe that this capability of our company is one of the most important factors that allow us to remain as excellent partners to global companies within the electronic development industry.
